I really am quite lucky. My husband bought a big ladder, three gallons of paint, and new light fixtures, and in two days I have a newly-painted foyer and 2nd floor hallway! It's clean and fresh and I love it! The light fixture shown in these shots is the old one from the builder and it was UGLY....

Yikes--tell him to be careful!! A fall from that high is going to leave a mark.
