Cooper (my dog) keeps eating the fruit-flavored candycanes from the tree. It's amazing how he can sniff them out, pull them off, and eat them (wrapper and all) before I can even get in the room to stop him. As a precautionary measure, we've moved those candycanes to higher ground.....
Update: Cooper barfed a lone candy cane on my white rug. I must have neglected to move it up higher on the tree. Nice.
