Today I visited a very special family. On October 17th 2007, Mark Acello Friel suffered a AVM (Arterio-Venous Malformation) with an aneurism. At 14, Mark faced a whole new world of challenges. He has gone through countless operations and hours of therapy. On June 7th 2008, the community will give Mark a new day to remember. A day we will honor him as a hero for fighting to get his life back.
I'll be attending the Hero Tournament to take team photos. A 5x7 will cost $10.00 with all profits going to the Friel family. See you there!
