In my world, if technology could help someone do their job better, this is it. The Canon 50mmL 1.2 lens. I've been waiting a long time for this and I finally broke down and did it. In case you are wondering, let's just say, for a piece of glass, it wasn't cheap. I've taken 5 shots with it (that's all that Ethan would tolerate since it was cold out) and I love it!! Yay! Here's a shot or two of it, and then one I took with it. LOOK AT THAT BACKGROUND. That's what 1.2 gets you!
